The Government Ponzi Scheme

His sadness is apparent

Yes, the statement does appear to be true doesn’t it? And this is a man who certainly can speak from experience. No, he’s not someone who you can point your finger at, as I had  federal attorney do to me a few years ago, and say, “are you taking medication?” As if I was the crazy one. He followed this satement with, “I don’t care about corruption.” Yes, and he is a federal attorney. I was incredulous, as to why he had chosen his profession. I had decided that our country was indeed, in a very sad state of affairs. With the more corruption that I had been uncovering the more bullying I was receiving from our, so-called, justice system.

And he was implying that I didn’t have all of my faculties. So, I should be unbalanced for even beginning to suggest that our whole legal system is turning a blind eye to justice and doing such things. Well this attorney was throwing papers around and grandstanding in such a manner, that he was making ‘much ado about nothing,’ which made me think, he was a big part of the whole mess, which Bernie Madoff certainly has pointed out. I was still rather naive, I must admit, as I was beginning to realize that our whole country was in a mess.

As I saw that my own brother had been scammed and many other people with special needs, and the ponzi scheme involved with that would blow peoples minds, I was sick, about the whole thing. Social Insecurity, will absolutely collapse when you finally see what the government has been doing with these people. Parking their numbers and qualifying them for services, while the whole stinking mess is going unchecked. Oh yes, believe me, it goes all the way up the chain of command. And Bernie is correct. Everyone gets a free pass. He was just the one that was caught.Ahh, but look at the price paid. In the end, ask him now. Was it worth it?

Now, I see the way things are and the way things will be. I operate in a different world and I am not alarmed. I know my Lord and He will put an end to this mess. My special  brother is not upset. His life is happy and I don’t need riches and wealth to be happy. Look what happens to those who live this way. How can anyone be blessed to know they rob from the very least of these? My mother’s life has been wrought with pain and suffering and, yes, it probably could have been made easier if the hands of greed would not have touched her. If she would have been allowed to have the income to care for her son. But then, I would not have acquired the strength necessary to advocate for her and my brother and others like them either. The Lord has shown me that from my youth, I had a burning compassion within me for those who are suffering. Born of my own pain and suffering and my love for Him. He wanted to mold me into an image of His likeness. To have a heart like His own. And this could not happen unless I had suffered in similar circumstances as He had. But He had ‘suffered all things known to man, in order to learn obedience.” Yep, that’s an amazing set of scripture to me. Even my Lord, had to suffer to learn obedience, to our Father. His own pain and suffering, But He knew the suffering was meant to lead Him to one place and that was the cross. And He was perfect. I, am not. There are many times, I’m ready to march across the land and sea, to just slap someone! This is where I still have to be brought into submission.

This has been supernatural and it will come to an end one day. He has reminded me through it all that grace is the end result. I must learn this lesson over and over again. My anger at this injustice is tempered by grace. In the end I also am left with compassion for those who have done these things. I am always left pleading for them, as well. When I see that God is the God of second chances, I know He is going to allow us time.

I remembered a time about 20 years ago when my friends and I heard about the  airplane scheme.  Well of course, no one mentioned the word scheme anywhere in it at all. It all sounded great. In the end someone, somewhere got to be called Captain. All you had to do was invest $500. and eventually everyone would win. That’s all I recall. Oh, that, and that one of the flight attendant’s that my ex-husband and I went to see, kept her money in a book, that was cut out to hold her cash. All seeming to be very clandestine, kind of reminding me of the prohibition days. Hey, I feel like Bonnie and Clyde, I thought. This girl, had serious flirtations, with my ex, and I was trying to pay attention to how all of this was going to work. It seemed like her and her husband were trying to sell Amway, but sleezy. Ok, so, how long does it take to recoup our loss of $500? “Hmmm, I’m going to have to see, if I can get some investor’s first, I told her. I’ll work on the ‘friends and family plan.”

I started with my brother. He’s usually pretty inovative and the first to jump into any investment opportunity.  Just as I thought. “Hey, that sounds like a real money maker!” He’s working it out on paper and I can almost hear his wheels turning in his head. Believe me, he would have been alongside of Madoff if he would have asked. I tried to convince a friend at work and she brought up some thought provoking questions along with, “Is this legal?” I don’t know. I asked her this, and she said it is, but I’m not seeing anything illegal. She’s telling me it’s the same as multilevel marketing, but it’s money. Come on, it has to be illegal. We both backed out.

In the end, they all lost their money and we ended up hearing about these illegal operations all over the country. I called my brother one day about some kind of business and he said, “Hey, are you kidding? I still have my friends calling me Captain, from that last scheme!”We cracked up!

I laugh at the ease with which man can be be hoodwinked into such things without realizing it, however, if we are not careful it becomes a lifestyle and it has devastating results. I can look at people like Bernie Madoff and feel compassion. He was caught up. Look at the price he has paid. But he is not the only one and it is hypocritical for anyone to point the finger of shame at him. We have a system of greed set up to allow this. Look at what our nation has done to allow this. We feed greed. Our media fuels the stories of disastrous and broken lives as a result of overindulgence and addictions. We crave the next episode of some person self-destructing.

Instead of yanking the safety net, which should be the true course, and placing them in a facility for care and prayer, we allow them suicide by media. I have coined this phrase because to me it is the same thing as someone who wants to die by the hands of law enforcement or on YouTube, etc. These are celebrites, and they’re doing what they do best. In the end, it’s all a result of corruption and a desperate cry for help.

Now, my Lord has a Year of Jubilee, which He has given to His people. He will certainly restore everything. It is a clean slate. Everything which the enemy has taken, He will return. When you rend your hearts and turn back to Him.

When Shiloh comes, perfect government will be in place and there will be no more greed. No need to take what does not belong to another. No selfishness and pride. No pain and suffering.

In the Tent of Meeting, This is where it all began. He will restore Justice. Yes, He will balance the scales. He is about to bring Truth and Majesty to Victory!

You know  I always think of the Lord singing this to me in my spirit. Yea, I know, you think He just sings hymns, but He sure doesn’t…He is the ‘coat of many colors!

Don’t Back Down!!!

Here we go again…Israel trying to defend its port from any threat’s and they are portrayed as the bad guys. I saw the videos as well. The Israeli’s coming on board to be met with knives and rods. Beating them, and they finally called to ask permission to use firearms. This is always the slant when we hear reports, against Israel. Now why in the world would they suspect anyone of being deceptive enough to bring arms into Gaza? Those nice terrorists, oops, I mean civilians. Come on! It’s not as if they haven’t been engaged in war all along.

They have been under repeated attacks and when they try to defend their position, they are viewed as the ultimate murdering machines. It’s clear that Netanyahu issued a dire warning years ago, “They are terrorists, and there is no negotiating with terrorists.”

Has everyone forgotten 9/11? Would you suggest we negotiate peace with these people, who have no desire, whatsoever, for peace? They whole central doctrine of their faith is to murder the infidels.

We had only a small taste of what Israel has been living with forever. But once again, it is not on our soil, so it would be easy to see a small piece of the puzzle and buy into the propaganda. This isn’t the first time that the press has maligned Israel either.

You will see that this is the Sword which divides, in the end. God Himself has a covenant with Israel, and just the fact that they still exist, should attest to this. They have been outnumbered on many occasions, and yet they continue to rise. And they will, because the Lord has formed an ancient covenant, and He cannot deny Himself.

Someone had posted a comment a while back, that Israel and my support of her, is some kind of a pet project. This person claimed to be a believer, however this would put the whole Bible in question. And that is virtually denying God’s word. The Lord spoke to the disciples when they asked about His return, and His words were very clear. Right after telling them that, “no one knows the day or the hour, He vehemently reminded them that “they should be aware, of the signs of the times. He began His list, and the first thing He spoke of, was Israel!

There’s no way of being a follower of the Savior and denying the plan evolves around Israel. “He came first,to the nation of Israel. Then, thank God, the plan of salvation was available to all men.

However, there will be a time of decision and every one who loves God, must also love and support Israel. Don’t turn your back on her, and align yourselves with the critics. Or you may have forgotten also, that “in the end, every nation, will come against Israel, to try and destroy her.
This is the Battle of Armageddon. Read about it in Revelation. It is a stark reminder to all of us. He will return Himself, on that day, to save her from her enemies.

The Lord loves us, and His words regarding Israel, are very stern, “Whoever, blesses you, I will bless, and whoever curses you will be cursed.”

Baruch Ha Ba, Ba Shem Adonai!!!!!!

Behold-The Remnant!

The Remnant

I was with a girl the other day and the Lord arranged a divine appointment as He always seems to do this. She was sharing some things in her life as I was and we had many hurts in common. I had told her that my faith sustained me and we continued to talk. As she shared her experience of religion, I realized, as I’m sure she did, it was an emotional, ritualistic experience. Nothing like the intimate relationship I had spoken of with the Lord.

I expressed to her that He had made a way for all people to come to Him in an intimate way, without ritual or any mediators. We are to look at Him as our Father now and He even tells us that we are children by adoption, allowing us to call Him, “Abba,” which is very intimate. It is as if we are climbing into His lap and crying “Daddy!” This is what Christ had accomplished for us on the cross, when the curtain had been torn. I reminded her that before that time, only a High Priest of Royal Order, was allowed into the Most Holy of Holies, to make sacrifice for the people of Israel. After Christ made sacrifice for us, He became our High Priest.
As we prayed, she cried and told me she never understood this before.
Well, I told her that religion, in many ways, keeps us focused on the wrong things and we miss, what Christ had really done for us. We go back to trying to work things out on our own.

I didn’t see her for a day and on the way back, she was telling me how excited she was after having prayed and wanting to start in a Bible Study. I told her when you have the Holy Spirit as your guide, you can read the bible with understanding, since He is the author. It is important for you to be in a study, rather than just involved in a church experience, which is nothing but ritual. God wants us to draw close to Him and to know Him, and this is how we do it.
Then she looked at a necklace which I was wearing and she said she liked it. It is a Star of David, with a cross in the middle of it. She said, “But the Jesus, will never go back to Israel again.” I dropped my jaw in disbelief. For someone who seemed to know very little about scripture, this remark was so Antisemitic, and out of left field. I said, “Did you know that Jesus was a Jew?” “Yes, but they killed him. And that’s the reason He said, Father forgive them, they don’t know what they’re doing.”
“Ok, listen,” I told her.”This is why it is very important for you to be in a study of the scriptures. You keep telling me this is “what you heard,’ but it is in total contradiction to God’s word.
God has a covenant with Israel and we are all inheritors of that same covenant as believers. Jesus Christ asked the Father to forgive all of us,that day. Every sinner, put Him on that cross. His prayer was as a High Priest, praying the prayer of forgiveness for all of mankind! I had to remind her that there were Roman’s and Jews alike that all took part in the sacrifice. A picture of Jew and Gentile. As I pointed out in scriptures before, “Roman soldiers cast lots for His clothing.” Everyone was implicated on that day. And God sent Him as a sacrifice. He was to make atonement for us. He said, “I lay my life down willingly, only to take it up again.”
But she said, “The Jews don’t believe and He will never go back to Israel again.“And do you know, that all the nations shall rise against Israel, and Christ Himself shall return and set His foot on the Mount of Olives, to put an end to the oppression? The Mount of Olives is in Israel. And God has said, that “I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse her.”
“Oh, I didn’t hear that,” she said. “No, this is why you need to know what God says. He loves Israel, even though they have been stubborn and rebellious. Just like all of us. But in scripture you can see that the very first believers were Jews. There was always a remnant. And I told her I have many friends who are Jewish believers.
We do not cut off Israel. She is the Apple of God’s Eye. His love for her is great and His plan is to restore her even though she was unfaithful.
I remember looking at my bible once and being fascinated with the remnant.
In Romans 11, Paul speaks of the remnant. In verse two Elijah appealed to God against Israel. You see that? The prophet to the nation of Israel, appealing to God, against His own people! He was so angry, He told the Lord, “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me.
This is what God said, “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal. (v4)
So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.
(v7)What then? What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did.
And this is the important part to remember, God allowed them to stumble and be blind. It says He gave them a “spirit of stupor.” (v8-10)
Why would He do something like this? How could a loving God darken the eyes of the very people He came for? Remember Jesus said, “I came first to the nation of Israel.”
This is why; Israels rejection of Christ resulted in salvation for the whole world. He became a “light to the gentiles.” And this is why it is so important that we understand what a great gift this has been and how much He loves Israel and plans for their return.
In verse 11, Paul repeats his question  to seal the understanding to his listeners. Just as I feel I must when speaking to those who want to make this a message of division or veiled antisemitism. That is demonically inspired and we know that anything surrounding Israel, Satan has hated from the beginning and will until the end.
“Again I ask; Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of the their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.
Paul tells us “not to be arrogant. If the natural olive branch had been cut off, to allow the wild to be ingrafted, how much more shall the natural be grafted in to their own olive tree?” (v18-24)
People run around with all kinds of wild beliefs and ideas, but if you really want to know God’s heart, then you must know Him in His word.
He also speaks of the Suffering Servant, and many over the years want to argue this point. Those who don’t believe in Jesus as messiah, want to believe it is Israel. I contend, that when any one of us is grafted into this vine, we are His and are called by His name.
All of the true servants of the Lord, are also suffering servants and are part of this remnant. We have His name and all of the promises of Israel apply.
When He speaks to me, He reminds me of this. “Israel, my splendor.” It is not a land, but a people chosen by grace to do the work of His hands and reveal His light to this dark world.

The Harvest Festival

What is the Harvest Festival? Well, it is Sukkot and this year it falls on the eve of October 2.

It is the most important festival of all and it was also called Hag Ha Asif. It was the main holiday of the Jews because they depended on the harvest. After the harvest was in they would stop and rest and everyone could enjoy themselves.Everyone was expected to go to Jerusalem for the feast.

This is why is was considered almost the Best and most enjoyable of all.

Now when we look at this application we can see so many symbols and look also at the dream that I had as well.

God rested after He created the heavens and the earth. He also tells man to “remember the sabbath and to keep it holy.” This is to be a rememberance of what He has done. It is also in reference to a future event. I believe it is the final harvest or ingathering before the  wedding feast begins. The Lord speaks of the “new Jerusalem” in scripture. There were also many references that the Lord made to the harvest they were symbolic of mens souls. He told the disciples to “pray to the Lord of the harvest (the Holy Spirit) to send out laborers into the harvest, to gather up the harvest before the final day of the Lord.” Again and again, he spoke of the harvest in terms of mankind.

Sukkot is the festival before the final festival of the season, Simhat Torah, which is the celebration of the Law, which points to Jesus Christ, the Law fulfilled. He is the groom or the Law and it is said that this festival is like a Wedding Feast. Because it seems that the rapture of the church or bride, takes place while the tribulation takes place on the earth, it would seem that Simhat Torah will be a special celebration hidden away from the earth while the “Time of Jacobs Troubles” commences for seven years. This is the time that takes place to draw the rest of mankind to the Lord that has been hardened and corrupted and refused His first offer of grace.

So to understand all of these festivals is imperative, for Jew and Gentile. The Lord tells us that this “shall be an ordinance for Jew and Gentile for all generations.”

Why? Because, He wanted to point to something extremely important for mankind, yet isn’t it strange that most people have no clue that these incredible truths are revealed in scripture? They have been blinded to them and still believe that the Jews are fighting over some small piece of land.

People have no idea that God Himself has designed a plan of redemption for all people through the nation of Israel and they have preserved these Holy scriptures for all of us. Yes, it’s true, many of these people do not know themselves that these mysteries are in these words either, yet they are going to have the blinders removed. God has already spoken this. And He said that He would do this through the Gentiles in the last days.

It is a miraculous thing that God has done. He has taken what was meant for the Jews and grafted the Gentiles into the vine, and in the end we shall turn them back to their own Lord and show them the one that Has come to the nation of Israel.

The number seven is the number of completion in the bible and the number eight is the number of new beginnings. This is Simhat Torah is the end and yet the beginning of the new cycle of festivals. This would seem to me a clue as to God’s timetable. “Let he who has an ear, hear what the spirit is saying.”

Yeshua has come and He is returning again.

Replacement Theology? Is God Finished With Israel?

Israel, the apple of my eye

Israel, the apple of my eye

Yes, it’s been a teaching going around for some time now. God and Israel are “all washed up.” Because the Jews rejected the Lord, He just took the gentile believers and replaced the Jews.

This is not a new theology. It’s just a new twist on something ancient. Satan always tried to annihilate the nation of Israel in God’s plan. Does anyone remember that even when Christ was entering the world, the plot was to kill all the male children. Herod, was very worried about this new king.

All through the annals of biblical history you can see Satan’s fingerprints and the desire to snuff out God’s covenant. Even as you look at current history you will see it has never stopped. Hitler had his own desire to do this and even when you look at the extreme fringe groups like the ‘skinheads‘ there is always a hatred for the Jews. Why is that? This is itself should be powerful enough evidence that God has a covenant and He will not break it. He cannot deny Himself and He has spoken about Israel and His plan for her.

When the covenant was first given to Abraham, God told him specifically that “all the nations of the earth would be blessed through him.” Well, this is still happening every time we place our faith in Christ. We are inheriting the promises of the covenant formed with Abraham, Isaac and  Jacob. .Isaiah speaks of the “servant of the Lord-to bring back those of Israel(49:5) and “I will also make you a light to the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” (49:6)

Now, of course there was a blinding of the Jews. This is why the Gentiles are to be grateful. It was the rejection of the Jews to their own Messiah, Yeshua, that allowed the Gentiles to be inheritors of these blessings.

Paul was an apostle to the Gentiles and he speaks of the ‘ingrafting of the Jews. (Romans 11) Twice he poses the question, “Did God reject His people?” He answers his own question, “By no means!” In verse 11 he asks, “Did they stumble as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all!” And this is where we shall see what Paul speaks, “if the natural olive branch was broken off and you though a wild olive branch have been grafted in-do not boast over those branches!” He states that they were broken off because of unbelief and later in verse 23, speaks of God’s ability to ‘graft them back in again.”

So then why should we be grateful to the Jews? It was through them, that Jesus, our Messiah had come. They preserved the words of the prophets and the law for all nations.

God told the gentile church to “provoke the Jew to jealousy.” Not an evil jealousy, but in a way that would make them wonder. How can they know and love our God? They will have a desire to know Him once again, by the faithfulness and love of the Gentile believers.

As Paul states in Romans 1:5, “through Him and for His names sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles.” He declares in verse 16, “I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who  believes, first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Jesus Christ, “the King of the Jews.” The prophet Zechariah had spoken of the Gentiles, “taking hold of the Jew by the hem of his robe and say “Let us go with you, because we heard that God is with you. Well, who can deny that when you just look at the supernatural protection that has been given to the nation of Israel.

Jesus Christ is the “King of the Jews This prophet of the Old Testament, also spoke about one of the signs to look for the Messiah, “See your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zech. 9:9

All throughout biblical history we can see the plan and to disregard Israel and say that Christ is your savior, yet Israel has been left out,  is an affront to God. It also brings a curse. “I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you.”Genesis 12:3 It is simply impossible to love Christ and hate the Jew. Israel has been “engraved on the palm of God’s hand.” Isaiah 49:16 The Gentile church did not become the spiritual Israel to replace Gods original covenant. This is a false teaching.

Yes, for years I wondered at the significance of Israel and why Jesus was born a Jew. Not that I was angry, I just wanted to understand the importance of Israel. Then I started to come to an understanding that God had done everything in His word, for a purpose. This includes bringing the savior through the only nation that worshipped Him at that time. He made this covenant for all of us to inherit and as I started to study the festival’s and laws,  instilled by God, I started to see some amazing things.

Jesus said, “learn of me.” When we seek to understand the customs and mindset of the Jewish people of that day, we can read the Bible with a whole new understanding. The festivals of the Lord, were given to “the Jew and the Gentile to celebrate, by God Himself. “(Leviticus 23) Well when you consider that the  ‘Last Supper’ was a Passover Seder, it would make sense to experience a Seder and you will have a whole new understanding of what actually took place at that table. I will save that for another post, however, my point is; we lose a great deal by studying Gods Word with a western mindset.

There is another very fascinating aspect of the Feasts of Israel. God has intrinsically placed His own timetable within these Feasts. Consider the Passover, once again. Jesus was crucified on Passover, just as the High Priest was making sacrifice in the temple, Holy of Holies. This is when the curtain was torn, to symbolize that acceptance of the sacrifice and our new relationship with our God. We could now enter into the most holy place, because Jesus Christ became our High Priest. How much more meaningful is this when we understand what happened in that Jewish temple?

I would challenge anyone that follows Christ, to learn about all of these things and this will enable the Gentile believers to reveal the true Messiah to the Jews and offer more rich meaning to the celebrations of the Feasts. These are for us as well.  He has come and He is coming back again!!!

Is God through with Israel? That is ridiculous. God doesn’t break His word and if He was through with them, He would be through with all of us.  We can see God’s plan started with Israel and in Revelation, it will end with Israel, as the Lord rescues Israel from all of her enemies that will face off against her to make war and try to destroy God’s people one last time.

We must always remember to “pray for the peace of Jersalem,” for in doing so we are praying for ourselves as well.
