The Spirit Is Speaking About Preparing The Bride

Always waiting for my beloved

My friend and I have been communicating for weeks about the same subject. The wise and foolish virgins, spoken about in scriptures before the return of Christ. The Lord tells us that the Holy Spirit, when speaking a message, will continue to confirm His word by two or three witnesses.

Well, she heard the parable in Matthew 25, of the 10 virgins. At this time we can see that 5 of the virgins had their lamps full of oil and were waiting for their bridegroom, while 5, were foolish, and did not take any oil with them. It states that “at midnight the cry rang out; “Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!”

Well of course we can see from the story the, virgins had fallen asleep and the foolish virgins had no oil with which to light their lamps. They were left out of the wedding banquet.

Now, I told my friend that I had heard the same message from a word of prophecy and then later on a program. It just kept coming. Then the Lord had reminded me of a dream I had many years ago. About 20 years ago and it fit right into this parable.

I had been in a small church bridal chamber. I was with my bridesmaids and I was wearing a red slip.  I had only one shoe and couldn’t find the other one. This was totally inappropriate and they were trying to prepare me for my wedding. I said, “Wait!” It’s as if I still had something to do. I ran out of the chamber across a beautiful open prairie with flowing tall grass and flowers. As if I was oblivious to the fact that I was about to be married.

All of a sudden I heard the most beautiful music and looked up. There, perched on a stone wall, was a very attractive man, playing a guitar. He seemed to be dark-skinned and perhaps Italian or similar. Very soothing and charismatic in his manner. I was drawn to him almost hypnotized. As he looked at me, he asked, “Would you like to hear more?” All of a sudden, I remembered my wedding. “Oh no!” I said, I can’t, I must get ready for my wedding!” “Wait, I have more! He said. No! I must Go!” I broke away and began to run back to the chapel. I came through the door into the bridal chambers with my bridesmaids waiting with everything in hand, just in time with minutes to spare.

As I woke I detailed everything in my dream and I understood this to mean that I would be distracted from my impending wedding to the bridegroom, Jesus Christ, if I were not careful. However, at the time, I did not see this as a problem, since I was very strong in my walk.

This dream seemed to indicate a very close proximity to His return, by the look of this wedding and the timing of my fall. This is what is scary to me. At that time I thought, there is no way with my love and devotion to Christ, and my passion for evangelism, that this could ever happen. Hmmm, as the Word says, “be careful how you stand, lest you fall.” Well, it would certainly seem, life and it’s troubles and the enemy’s craftiness can turn you away from your pure devotion, if you’re not careful.

When I had an encounter with the man on the wall, it could only mean one thing, and that is the enemy. He “masquerades as an angel of light.” In all his beauty and cunning charm. Deceptive as he may be, he is hypnotic, however, he cannot snatch away the ones, whom the Lord has called as His own. And he is certainly not more powerful than the Holy Spirit. His spell had been broken and the Lord protected me in very many ways.

I had His supernatural protection all around me, because there was a time, that I was walking in a dark place and I was one of the foolish virgins. And what He had done was just the dress rehearsal. The warning call, for me. Yes, that’s right. He disciplines those He loves. He tells us to get out of the world and go back to the bridal chamber where we belong! To get ready, for the day of reckoning is coming.

He shows us signs, if we have our spiritual radar. He did this for me. I listened to Him. I watched the signs. He spoke to me and even told me “he was getting married.” I knew what that meant. Although these words were spoken through a man, to me this meant, I had better stop playing around and do what I’m supposed to be doing. Being sanctified, the bride, without spot, wrinkle or blemish.

I had no business making a covenant with the Lord and committing adultery with the world and this was the meaning of the dream. Now He was sending a message from above. “It’s time to fill your lamp and stay wise. Just because it’s taking me a long time, does not mean that I am not coming for you.”

Yes, I have been doing just this. Filling and staying filled. I am reminding him, that I will never be empty again. My love for him is true and nothing nor anyone else will ever replace this love. It is pure and eternal.

He will not open the door to me and say, “I don’t know you!” But when He looks at me, it will be with the longing eyes of a groom toward His bride; The Apple of His Eye!

Many are called few are chosen!

The Bride of Christ

Always waiting for my beloved

Always waiting for my beloved

I had a dream about 1993 and the Lord had shown me that I was about to endure some tribulations as His bride.

I had been in a fellowship at the time with many strong believers and had learned so much about my calling and my gifts. I also learned about spiritual warfare and the enemy that stalks us strong believers to try to seduce us back into the world. If you would have asked me then I probably would have said, “Oh that’s not going to happen to me. I can certainly recognize the schemes of the enemy and won’t fall into that trap.” I would have never imagined that years later, when the ultimate tribulation began in my life, that I would become blinded to the one that I challenged on so many other occasions. “But don’t you know that Satan himself appears as an angel of light, so that he may deceive many?”

Now I had forgotten all of that. Yet deceived people rarely know they are deceived until the Holy Spirit brings that conviction and warning. The Lord had shown me all too clearly in this particular dream, that I would indeed be deceived and it was to happen not too long before the wedding is about to begin.

When He brought this dream to back to my memory, I had to look at the circumstances of my life and acknowledge that everything had happened according to this dream.

The dream;

I was in a church and I was getting ready for my own wedding. I was wearing what appeared to be a red slip and one shoe. I could not find my gown or my other shoe. I was crying out to my bridesmaids that I needed these parts of my apparel or I would not be ready.

They were scrambling about trying to find my things for me when I ventured out of the church into a beautiful meadow. I was immediately impressed with the serenity of it all and had forgotten the fact that I was even about to enter into matrimony.

I had continued to walk and there sitting on a brick wall was a man. He was holding a guitar and singing in Italian. It was mesmerizing. I looked at him and was longing for more of this seductive music. I sat and listened as he looked at me and sang some more.

Suddenly, I remembered! “Oh, I said, I must leave. I have to get ready for my wedding!” “No! He said. I have more, listen! He started to play and before I could become hypnotized,  once again, I decided to run.

I ran across the field toward the church. As I entered into the sanctuary and the small room, I saw my bridesmaids, holding my gown and my shoes. They hurriedly dressed me and placed my veil upon my head as I heard bells to start the ceremony. I was ready with just minutes to spare.

When I looked at the dream that I had written into my prayer journal, the Lord revealed so many things to me. He reminded me that I had been called and chosen when I was just a young girl. I had accepted His proposal. Yet, I was not finished. I had to consecrate my life and be ready for His return.

I learned about the ancient Jewish wedding customs and it was so beautiful and it also taught me that this is also an incredible picture of what is spoken of in scripture as the Rapture and following wedding feast.

When a man proposed he did it with a special cup of wine. It was a marriage proposal that was sealed as the man and woman drank from the cup. The future groom did not immediately take his bride.(Take drink, this is the covenant in my blood) The disciples were accepting Christ’s proposal of marriage.

He was to go to his father’s house and prepare for his bride. (I go to my Father’s house to prepare a place for you.(John 14)

The bride was to be ready at all times, since the groom would not let her know when he was coming to get her.(All of the virgins did not have their lamps full of oil at the bridegrooms return, therefore were left out of the wedding banquet. Matthew 25)

With a shout and the blow of the shofar, ( a rams horn) the bridegroom will announce his coming to his bride. (he shall send His angels with a loud trumpet call. Matthew 24:31, 1Cor.14:8, 1Th4:16)

At this point the bridegroom collects his bride and they shall go to the wedding feast. They would then go into a secluded chamber to consummate their vows as the fest continued. They would remain hidden for seven days. (Seven days, symbolizes the seven years of tribulation on the earth after the rapture has taken place. (Revelation 19:9) This is known as “The time of Jacob’s troubles.) It is a time of suffering that the earth has never known and it’s main purpose is to bring in the most hardened of unbelievers. It is also the time that every nation shall come against Israel.(Jacob)

After the bride and groom have consummated, they rejoin their party and it is the first time they see the bride, unveiled, in her radiant glory.(And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being  transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.(Cor.3:18)

The bride revealed in Revelation 21:1,2) “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, thew new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.”

What a glorious picture! Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this? If a person thinks anything on this earth is superior, it is only because they lack faith. All of these things shall come to pass.

Now back to my dream. The Lord had interpreted this to me and it doesn’t take too much discernment, after understanding what I have just shown in scripture. I was in a rush to get ready, yet I was still lacking in my wedding garments.Matthew 22:11 The Parable of the Wedding Banquet) (Clothe yourself in Jesus Christ-Romans 13:14)

I thought I was ready, but the Lord revealed that I was not. I still had a longing for the world, by going out of the sanctuary and into the world, right before my own wedding was to begin. I was seduced by the world and had completely forgotten my groom.

As I wandered, I came upon another man that tried to seduce me with his charm. This is a picture of the enemy.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of my vows and the spell was broken. (Greater is He that is in me, than the one that is in the world.)(1John4:4)

At that point, I ran back to the sanctuary to find my bridesmaids, loyally waiting for my return with all my garments prepared for me. (Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance, the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:1,2)

I was made ready, spotless and blameless for my wedding. (Ephesians 5:26,27) to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

This is difficult to grasp, since we are all in a body of sin, however, all of these things when submitted to the power of Christ, will give us the ability to overcome, so that we can be a bride, “being made ready.” And “when He appears, we shall be like Him.” (1John 3:2,3)

Is it possible? Of course! Christ has told us and we know this to be true.

The Dream(A Family Held Captive)Part Three

when will freedom be restored?

“There are two brothers, one fits into the sancutary feeling safe and hidden, the other too big to make it through the door.” This indicates that these are men acting together, such as ‘brother’s in crime,’ spiritual brother’s, not biological brothers. As I said in my earlier post, they are at the very top, (kings) by the symbol of gold, which is the head of the company they rule. They have a relationship of collusion and darkness, that is not one of integrity, because it speaks of one of the brother’s trying to “fit into the sanctuary feeling safe and hidden.” It isn’t a natural fit, but one of forced entry. He’s hiding in the sanctuary as if he is a Godly man, however, as we all know, even Adam could not fool God. He knew when He had sinned and he was naked. He also tried to cover himself. This is why we are told to “come clean.”

The other brother was “too big to make it through the door. The scene looks like Alice in Wonderland and not wlling to leave the other behind, they both get captured together.” One seems too full of pride and believes he is so successful, he has no need of God. His lust for the material and power has overwhelmed his spiritual understanding of who God is and what God has done for him. The smaller brother had at one time tried to get out of this corruption it seems, but because of his loyalty to his brother and his longing for what this world has to offer, he was overwhelmed by this corrupton.”They were captured together.

“Later, one escapes prison.” This indicates the prison of lies, greed and power. They are the snare of the enemy. Satan uses them to deceive us from the truth.

“What seems like years later, the other is relased from prison. The prisoner still makes the same decsions, tries to go through the alarmed exit door.” In this you can see that the men are doing the same thing that I am doing except that I have a true knowledge of the Lord. They are running from the enemy and haven’t found the truth yet. The alarms on the door, symbolize a fear of being caught. They are always afraid of being caught in their lies, however, it is only this fear that the enemy is using against them. The Lord says that “fear has to do with punishment, but perfect love casts out all fear.” He wants to set them free, not punish them. They do not yet understand Gods love and freedom in all of this. This part of the dream indicates that although the brother is released from prison, he is once again caught up in his sin.

“The other warns no!” As if he is trying to protect him, yet he may not understand the only way to freedom is truth.

A Family Held Captive

It’s the dream that my girlfriend gave me in 2001. I had it tucked into my bible since then.

I have used it as a guide in this last year. The Lord has revealed it’s meaning in entirety and the people that are in it don’t even know who they are yet. All the players are part of Gods plan to bring about redemption.

I have suffered such hardship and terror that it has taken a toll. No one could even imagine, but it has been to bring about my own righteousness as well as the salvation of others. I have felt a loneliness beyond understanding at times. This is all part of the dream. The woman that had this dream is an intercessor and she prays constantly. As I stated before, she could not believe that she was so instrumental in being used by God in this way. But she shouldn’t be surprised. He always uses the humble servants to bring about His greatest purposes.

I will tell the dream exactly as she gave it to me on 11/14/01

Dear Carrie,

This is the dream I read to you from my journal. A family held captive is how I titled it in my journal. Jesus the doctor who came for the sick.

The dream started with a woman kidnapped. She was in her bathroom. She had her makeup and 2 gold chains and someone came in to hand her a check. She escapes and continues to run and hide in fear. She hides in doctors offices and hotels. She ends up in what appears to be a doctors office or bank. A man gives her refuge. The man calls for help. She says my daddy knows everything, but she speaks in fear and doubt as if it is a lie because she has not told her father her situation. The dream continues, the rest of the family becomes imprisoned searching for stairways and exit doors for escape. Doors sound alarms they are surprised and again ensnared. Every time repeating the same behavior expecting a different outcome, yet repeating the same way of escape. Escaping once running through the desert, finding refuge in a church.

There are two brothers, one fits into the sanctuary feeling safe and hidden, the other too big to make it through the door. The scene looks like Alice in Wonderland. Not willing to leave the other behind, they are captured together. Later one escapes prison.

What seems like years later the other is released from prison. The prisoner still make the same decision. Tries to go through the alarmed exit door. The other warns, No! But the door opens enough to trigger the same alarm. But this time they both escape. The entire large family is released! Set Free! Restored to joy at the time the last brother is released from prison.

They reflect; how did we escape? The alarm on the door was triggered yet we were not ensnared. It seemed as those in authoritiy were looking down watching and directing their escape plan through all their bad decisions.

It was their time to escape to be set free and no alarm or entrapment was able to stop their release from prison. Every obstacle was lifted, every stumbling block removed. A clear path to freedom was set before them. Not by the power of their decisions, but because a way of escape had already been prepared.

There was a part of the dream I remember later and wrote at the bottom of my journal page. It seem to deal with being careful not to be angry or offended when others try to put a label on us.

I am continuing to pray for you.

Now it wasn’t  until recently that the Lord revealed the minute details of this dream to me and it was most amazing. Gods is merciful and slow to anger. Full of compassion and He loves mankind. He is not willing that any man should perish but that all should come to a knowledge of the truth. It is an amazing thing to me, but it is not without suffering. Believe me. This is a lonely road. Very few people whose souls cannot be purchased and some can be bought for virtually nothing at all. In the end the Lord promises to restore us, but we must always remember that it is the souls of men that are at stake and even one man’s soul is worth more than anything this world can offer!

“For what is it if a man shall gain the whole world but lose his own soul?” What we can see at the end of this dream is a picture of grace. Unmerited favor. Nothing that can be earned but is freely given. This is what Christ offers all of us and the only release from prison is truth. It is the truth that makes us free.
