Apocalypse Survival Guide? Read Your Bible!

Well, it seems that the whole nation is talking about the “Zombie Apocalypse,” after the bizarre incidents, taking place in the recent weeks.

But this is just escalating. It isn’t new. However, it is in my son’s world. And talking with him and his friend the other day, was hilarious. But also, quite sobering. It gave me, a teachable moment.

I had taken my son and my brother to see, The Chernobyl Diaries, a few nights before. And sorry folks, but we were laughing throughout the whole movie. My son, the hardcore, believer, even said, “That sucked. The ending was terrible!”

He is a conspiracy theorist if I ever saw one. And he was totally convinced that the Russian’s have these mutant zombies locked up, and just refuse to let us know. Hey, anything’s possible. But after he saw the movie, he was totally bummed out.

He loves a good espionage and mystery, or horror film but this was so bad, that the theater erupted in loud hoots of laughter. I’m thinking back to the time my son was telling an older lady at my brother’s bowling group, that he had smashed one of my smoke detectors, because he believed it was ‘bugged.’ The only reason I took it down, was because I had another, placed too closely to this one anyway. She very nonchalantly, asked him, “do you think you should have been doing that?” And he answered her, “Yea, the government has no business putting bugs in our smoke detectors!” I couldn’t stop laughing, as they spoke. Neither one of them seemed as if this was odd. I guess we are all desensitized by our own lack of privacy. So it seemed to be a normal conversation.

I guess I watched Enemy of the State, one too many times with him. But he is pretty astute, I will give him that. He notices things which the average person does not, and I would say his level of observance would make him a good candidate for any spy agency.

However, the conversation him and his friend were having was the means to survive the coming Zombie Apocalypse. I began to ask them the details, of such an event. His friend said, “I’m going on top of Wal-Mart. “I’m going on top of Bass Outdoor World,” my son said. “Why are you guys going on top of the buildings?” I asked. “Well, everyone knows that zombies, can’t climb!” His friend says. “Oh, I said, showing my ‘zombie-ignorance.’

Now my son begins to ask me, “What would you use against the zombies, mom?” Hmm, well, I don’t want to get up close and personal, so I’m thinking a compound bow. That sounds cool.” “Yea,” he says. “With flaming arrows, cause fire kills them.”

Well, clearly, there’s a lot I need to learn about these zombies. Then his friend tells me that his stepdad, also has been studying zombies for quite a while. I’m wondering why. But hey, if they come knockin, at least I have a neighbor, I can go to for advice. That is, from my rooftop.

Now my son is upset, because my daughter told him all the people online are saying they’re getting a spot on Bass Outdoor World. “Oh man, now I have to find some other place,” he says. Yea, it’s gonna get crowded, I told him.

So, I realized that while speaking to my friend the other day, he too said, “Oh, I have a zombie survival kit.” “What?” I was surprised. But, his mother said, “Please. I’m losing my religion, hearing all this.” I said, “Why? It’s no different from the demoniac that Jesus came upon in the graveyard. He was living there, and running around naked. Cutting himself. No one could chain him or hold him down and everyone was terrified of him.

Remember, the Lord came upon the man and it said that the man ran and fell at his feet, but the spirits cried out, have you come to torment us before our time? Then Jesus asked them their name. They told him,  “Legion, for we are many.” They begged him not to cast them out of the man, but he cast them into a herd of swine and the swine ran down the cliff and drown in the sea.

Well, I told her that this is all drug related and drugs are referred in scripture as, Pharmakae, or sorcery. So, this is the practice which the Lord referred to. Which allows anything to enter in. When we make our bodies an open portal to the spirit world by the practice of sorcery, the spirits have control and make people do things which are not natural, like eating people.

Now, if you read the book of Enoch, which was not included in the cannon of scripture, it speaks of these exact, things taking place, on the earth, thousands of years ago. That’s right, they were, using drugs, castings spells, and eating flesh! But these weren’t just people they were speaking about. They were a mutant race.

Enoch, was taken up in a whirl-wind of fire, without seeing death.I’ve never understood why, this book was not contained in scripture, but I find it fascinating. “Enoch walked with God.” This is why he did not see death. I think it’s worth reading. The descriptions are much like Revelation and you must remember that the vernacular wasn’t for the same. Many believe his “chariot of fire,”was some type of space ship. It is the same type of account given of Elijah’s departure, and in fact, they were the only two, who were taken up to the Lord, without dying.

I find it quite interesting, you will find the account of the Nephilim, (the giants) You can also read about these in the book of Genesis.  These are the mutants, most believe, the fallen angels and the daughter’s of men. And the scriptures indicate that “they existed before the flood and after.”

It would indicate from this article that they were using drugs, and using this to procreate and continue in their evil ways. A brief quote; Enoch 5 And the giants turned against then in order to devour men. And they began to sin against birds and against the animals and against the reptiles and against fish and they devoured one another’s flesh and drank blood from it. Then the Earth complained about the lawless ones.

Now this is when the Lord spoke to Noah and told him that he was sending a flood because He could not contend with creation any longer. It had become so vile that He said, He had to destroy mankind. This is when He spoke to Noah and spared a righteous remnant.

But He also said that upon Christ’s return, “it would be like the days of Noah. ” And all of these same things would be taking place. Sorcery would be at an all time high and the world would be in a state of lawlessness and rebellion.

Now, this morning I was speaking to my son, and I said, do you know where the word, ‘apocalypse’ was first used? In scripture. It means, Revelation, or unveiling. This is what is happening on this earth. So if you want to see what is happening read about it. He speaks about The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

It is fascinating, especially to any person who studies things like this. It was my first interest when I became a believer. I wanted to study biblical prophecy and end time events. The book of Daniel and the book of Revelation, or the compatible books for study.

The most interesting thing is that Daniel was told that these things would not be revealed (apocalypse) until the time of the end, when people would be running to and fro, seeking much knowledge. Sounds like the information age, to me.

Now the drugs are also coming in from different countries, such as Pakistan, China. What better way to begin the destruction of a nation? That sounds a little like the Horsemen are beginning to ride.

There are many different theories on the end times. But it pays to study the guide written by the creator. Because, as I reminded my son, if those zombies come along, I really won’t have to worry. I have the blood of Jesus Christ and the Sword of the Spirit. That’s all the protection I need!

Regeneration: to be Born Again

Yes this is what Nicodemus was so perplexed about as he was a teacher of the laws that he had studied for so many years and when Jesus came along and threw all the natural and super- natural laws into chaos, he knew this was no ordinary man. He snuck into the night to meet him. Being somewhat of a coward, but just having a need to meet with Him, and that is exactly what  takes place in all of our lives in order  to meet the Saviour, he asked the pivotal question, “what must I do to enter the kingdom of God?” “I tell you the truth, a man must be born again,” Jesus answered, just as simple as that.

And as natural minded as he was, Nicodemus answered, “how can a man enter his mother’s womb a second time?” “That which is flesh is flesh, but that which is Spirit is Spirit.” Now of course, Jesus was speaking of the Holy Spirit and the regeneration. An experience that takes place with a confession of faith that cannot happen in a religious experience, which is based on a person trying to work out their salvation by covering up their discretion by works, which is a useless exercise. Dead ritual, which the Lord referred to when He spoke to the Pharisees many times. He hated these attempts of hypocrisy because they lead so many others astray. “White washed tombs filled with dead mens bones.”

The real experience is evident because it will show the new life. “Behold the old life has passed away and the new life has come! ” How many have entered into the baptismal water only to walk right back into their same life? It’s ridiculous. This is not what the Lord has asked from them. The Lord wants their whole life. This is what others want to see. Then they try to use other people as the example. The reason for this is they haven’t been sold out. They’re still holding on to self. We can’t hold on to self and be born again. The Lord expects us to give it all.

Paul said, “imitate me as I imitate Christ.” We are to be the epistles being read. It is our lives that our followers are reading. We will be the example that others are  to follow. Pray with them to receive Christ. You don’t need  a pastor to do this. We have been given all authority, that’s right, in heaven and on earth. Our Lord gave us this power when He left this earth, which means, we are ordained. Yes, give them the drink of water that they are longing for . The spiritual drink that every person needs Then they shall never thirst again!!!

Return To Your First Love!

Yes this was my first love and I thought it would last forever.
John, the pastor’s son and also the son of a missionary.
His father was living in Africa.
I met John when he was the new guy in my high school. He was the upper class man and all the girls wanted to know who he was. Well, I was excited to know that he was interested in me, yet I was still not too sure about this situation. I was still very shy and not very confident. But there was something about this boy, that seemed to put me at ease. He seemed very likeable and not intimidating at all.

He lived in what is called a ‘Furlough House,’ with his older brother, since his parents both were missionaries. His dad was gone and his mother was only in the state’s part time. This made it most convenient for these boys.
It was also similar to my living situation, since I became the surrogate mother in my own household.
On most days it seemed as if there was no parent in our home.
John and I were a couple for quite a while. He pressured me to do things that I didn’t want to do. He was manipulative, but not unlike most boys his age.
I broke up with him once because of this and he couldn’t stand having to see me at church all the time, so he asked if I would take him back.
Then it happened again. He continued to pressure me and I will spare the details, but I felt I was in a relationship of compromise. It became one-sided.
He wanted me to marry him at 18 and that was unacceptable. He only wanted to hold me captive out of fear, because he was going off to college.
I refused and he was angry.
Next he did something that forever changed the course of our relationship.
Things became heated and he couldn’t cope and he told me he had to leave.
He was going to go to Africa to work for his father.
When I needed him most…he left.

me and john camping 74I realized that he thought he was going to resume our relationship when he returned, just as if nothing had happened. But it couldn’t be.
When he walked onboard that flight to Africa, he shut the door to our future.
Now after arriving he was furiously making plans for me to come to Africa to join his parents.
I told him that I could not come and I wrote a “Dear John,” letter.I thought I would let him off the hook, so to speak.
I told him I was not angry, but the reality was that I was very angry and hurt. I had given my very soul to him. He betrayed me.
Now, I told him, “I’m fine. Don’t worry. I’m very happy.”
I began to isolate myself in my room. I wouldn’t come out. Extremely depressed. I had a job that I went to and when I returned home, I would go to sleep.
My social life disappeared.
Except for my very good friend, Miriam. She was another pastor’s kid. She and I had known each other since grade school.I love her name. She hated it. She used to joke about it. “Sure she said, I’m the one named after the sister of Moses who was cursed with leprosy for being such a smart a**!”
Oh, pk’s..they are the salt of the earth. They have the weight of their parent’s legacy to carry  and a serious cross to bear. You just never know what you’re gonna get with one of these ‘kids,’ but it’s always something fascinating.
I grew up with a group of them. I went out with one and most of them were my best friends. And yes, “The only one who could ever teach me, was the son of a preacher-man!”
They dynamics of being one of these kids is fodder for therapists worldwide and we used to sit around having rap sessions that would amaze people.
Now, I had given my life to Christ before I met John, however, fallen away.
Jesus speaks of Himself as “our first love,” in Revelation.
I remember how pure this experience was when at first I came to realize that Christ asks us to accept His proposal.
After doing so, I felt He was “my first love and it was untainted.
However, when being involved in an earthly relationship with John, I had a comparison. It was at first, beautiful, almost like a fairy tale. I was feeling giddy and in love.
I still remember the night we were in his car and he told me he loved me. He had an orange mustang.
Jim Morrison was playing, “Light My Fire,” and he said it. Of course I’m sure making out and the emotionalism involved of a teenage boy had something to do with this. I still remember the scent of his English Leather cologne.
I bought a bottle of it, just to keep, so I could smell it from time to time.
It was a powerful time in my life and I thought this was the boy I would marry.
And then it began to fade. He showed his imperfections. And I had shown my own.  He started to cheat. He hurt me. We had spoken angry words.
And then…the worst…he ran.
I became hardened, without noticing.
I would not allow this, I thought. I may have relationships, but not be invested in them. Not to this point. Never again.
Then, one evening, sound asleep, I heard a knocking on my door. About 2am and I went to peek out to see, my friend, Miriam standing there. “Come on!” She said. “Get some stuff! I’m kidnapping you!”
“What?” I’m still half asleep. And if she’s kidnapping me, why is she telling me? “Just get some clothes, to go on a road trip.”
I still don’t know what made me follow her directions except to say it was the Lord.
I grabbed a few things and headed out to a little Volkswagen bug. This wasn’t her car! As soon as I was about to step in, who is sitting inside? But John!
“Oh, my gosh! You need to get out of here! Steve, is in the house! And he is insanely jealous!”
This was a boyfriend that I had been with for about a year and a bad relationship. But as I said, I had nothing emotionally invested any longer.
Now, I was just worried. And upset, with my friend, Miriam. “What are you doing, and why am I here?”
“I thought I’d take you on a trip.”
“Yes, but with John?”
John sat quietly. He had made no secret of the fact that he wanted to get back together with me after he returned from Africa, but by now he’d heard that I was with someone else and had long since moved on.
I don’t think he was buyin it, that I was really over the fact that he had left me.
So, now here we were. As we drove, I asked, “where is it that we are going exactly?”
“Oh, Miriam answered. “St Louis.”
“What?!”
“I have to go to work in the morning!”
“Well, you’ll just have to call and tell them you’re not coming.”
“Geesh! Miriam! I must have Steve do it. This is going to be a nightmare!”
I had to call him in the early morning to tell him and as expected he was furious with insecurity, since I’d disappeared in the middle of the night.
I dare not tell him my ex boyfriend is in the car.
Now, we made a stop at John’s aviation school in Illinois to shower before heading off to St. Louis.
When we finally arrived in St. Louis, we stayed with a friend of Miriam’s.
On the way back Miriam decided she was going to sleep in the back seat and I was going to sit up front with John.
This had been the  first time since we were a couple. It was very awkward at first and the silence was deafening. Finally we had ‘the talk.’
He asked me to forgive him for leaving me. I guess I didn’t realize the extent of the pain that I carried,  until those words were spoken.
I began to remember the details of the day. The ride to the airport. The rain on the window. They were my tears. The coldness of his kiss goodbye.
All of his letters, (that I have to this day) and my own letters in response. The fact that he must have mailed one each day and the mail took forever to arrive from Africa to the states in the 70’s., showed me the desperation of his pleas. It only heightened the satisfaction of my retribution.
The ties that had been severed. The love that could not be restored.
Now in one fell swoop…
I wept and I forgave him.
I felt a compassion for him and a new friendship.
We laughed at all of the memories we had shared.
Young love. But this was a different love.
About a year later my friend, Grace called me. She is another pastors kid. She was frantic. I was visiting my mother at her house.
“Carrie, I want to make sure you’re with someone right now.”
“Yes,” I assured, her, “I’m with my mom.” “I have to tell you some very bad news,” she said. “John, was killed in a car accident.”
“What?!” I was numb. She repeated the words, but thoughts of our trip and our life, flooded my mind. No, I thought, this couldn’t be. He was too young and he had so many plans.
“Yes, she said, he was in his Volkswagen, and he ran a stop sign. He hit another car with a man and his wife and child. They are ok, but he was killed.
I was in shock. I made plans to go to the funeral and as I waited for my friend Grace to come pick me up, I sat in my home, all alone.
I thought of all of the dreams we had together.
I remembered the feelings that I had when I first ‘fell in love.’
Why couldn’t that last? I wondered.
I went to his funeral and it would be the very first time I met his father. A stern man.
John always seemed a bit intimidated by him, yet had a great respect for him.
I saw his sister, who I had such great love for.
Then his mother, came to me and said, “You know, John loved you until the day he died.”
I cried.
She later found out she had breast cancer and sent me a note of encouragement, which I couldn’t believe. I have it still.
She died a year after John’s death and I always believed that the Lord took her home to be with her son.
I often think about the Lord’s plan and how He used my friend Miriam to bring the healing that I needed before He took John home to be with Him.
The Lord has done this so many times, with me and I cannot help but see this.
But I am reminded that it was Jesus Christ first, that I made my covenant with. He is my first love.
There cannot be any comparison.
So it would be unfair of me to compare anyone to Him.
So now, He has called me back to Himself.
“To the Church of Ephesus”
(Rev.2:2-5)
“I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance,. I know you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested, those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.
You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
Yet I hold this against you: you have forsaken your first love.
Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent. I will come to you and remove you lampstand from its place.”

The King Is Coming Soon!

I watched a program on the History Channel the other night and it was all about the prophesies of Nostradamus and others. It was quite fascinating, although, I don’t really put a lot of faith in the prophetic, unless the person to whom the prophesy is flowing is submitted to the Lord.

I listened and wondered why mankind is always trying to figure out what God has already spoken in His Word. Open it up! It’s all there. The Lord gave us signs and markers and so did all of the prophets before and after His final resurrection to sit beside the Father.

Yes, read Revelation and the earlier words from the prophet Daniel. Daniel was told by the angel, “these words shall be sealed up until the end, when people are running to and fro, seeking knowledge. We are now living in what has been termed the “information age.” All the signs that Christ had spoken of before His return have been fulfilled. These all center around Israel, “the apple of Gods eye.”

The internet is the information, superhighway, and now I have also learned about the  Webbot Project. It searches all of the internet to try to predict future events. It is an interesting website, however, as I said, only one source would be needed for this endeavor. The Word of God. Yes, the book of Revelation and its words are repeated as one source, however. so many others are listed that to my knowledge, it’s confusing.

Lets, keep it simple. Read your bible and prepare for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, to make His return!

I Never Knew You!

come to meThese are the words that no one desires to hear when the Lord returns; but they will and it will be spoken to many people that are quite active within ministry and the church.

This will be the saddest day for all mankind and I grieve when I read about this in scripture. People are always saying, “well God knows my heart.” This is a direct fulfillment of what scriptures states, “the heart is wicked and deceitful above all things, who can know it?” Well it’s true, God can know it, however, the heart being wicked and deceitful only means that we can deceive ourselves into believing we have some kind of ‘goodness’ that can save us. We don’t. We were born into sin and there is only one that is good, as Christ stated to make His point. “Do not call anyone good for only our Father in heaven is good.

Oh yes, we are good at something that’s true. It is, as I stated, self-deception. We try to climb up on that cross as if we can redeem ourselves with works or our image that we have created. This image is nothing but a false idol that we bow down to and hope that others will as well. Yes, this is why the commandment tells us, “Do not worship false images.” We can create a picture of ourselves in our pride and it is the very thing that keeps us from entering into a true intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. The only one that can save us from our deception and pride. The word of God tells us that, “He became nothing.” That’s right, the king of the universe, stepped into a mortal body to live among us and He did not consider His reputation.

When we come to Christ, we are to have our identity in Christ and we become nothing. He lives through us and touches the world through our hands and feet. Our eyes and mouth. We are the vessels. As pathetic as we are, He loves us in all of our imperfection and He alone brings about the change in us by the power of the Holy Spirit. This cannot happen as long as we are still holding on to any belief that we are doing this or He needs our help. The opposite of the humanist belief must take hold and we crucify our flesh so that He knows we are dead to ourselves. This is why Paul said, “His strength is made perfect, in my weakness. When our pride is wiped out and we are broken. This is when Christ becomes the strongest in our lives. It is the only time that we realize it is not our power. “Not our will, but thine be done.” It’s simply impossible as long as we are sitting on the throne of our will and not submitted to Him.

Now, in the end when He judges mankind it will be just this self-deception that men have chosen, to be cast aside. It is not the Lord’s choosing, but the very men that have been serving in ministry. However, they are not serving God, they only give the appearance of this to the outside world. Here is the pinnacle of the judgement in that day. It says in scripture; (Matthew 7:21-23) “Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say(and the word many translates to the majority, or greater part) to me on that day, “Lord did we not prohesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?” Then I will tell them plainly, Depart from me, I never knew you.” The word knew is defined as “an intimate relationship.

So when the separation takes place we can see that the Lord is not pleased with all of these works, even though the people that claimed this as their right to enter heaven, think that they were serving the kingdom. The key and the operative words are, “I never knew you.”

If you look further, in verse 24, He defines the real meaning of this relationship. You cannot hear the word of God and know the truth and continue to live your life any way you please. There must be an outward change that is visible of your relationship with Christ. And it is not the title or works you perform, but the lifestyle that you live. It must be a reflection of the Lord ruling and reigning on the throne of your heart. If He is ruling, you will have the power to turn away from an unrighteous life and overcome these areas of darkness. You can’t hide behind good works as a smokescreen and believe that the Lord is going to let you slip into the kingdom because you taugh bible study or led ministry. He demands a consecrated life and we are the example of the Word of God being read. Paul tells us, ‘we are epistles being read.” Our life and the fruit of our lives to the world.

If we do not allow this, we are in rebellion and we are the ones spoken of in the last days, “they worship me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”

So we can see these portions of scripture are dealing with the ones that claim to know Him. He is not speaking of the unsaved world. It is far worse to claim you know the truth and continue on with your deeds of darkness and use the name of Christ to promote yourself. This is very dangerous since we can see that the lost, don’t walk in hypocrisy. They don’t claim to have a desire to follow Christ and therefore are not preaching a double standard.

I had a friend that came with me to a church years ago. It was a vital church, but things started to be shaken at the top. Church leadership was being called out, by the Lord. A definite shaking was taking place and these people had lives that were unconsecrated and they were doing things that were morally wrong.

My friend laughed when we had a trip together. We were in a European country and walked into a club and she and I saw women on the tables dancing and men drunk as could be. We walked out and she made the statement, “hey it’s just like that church!” I laughed so hard and thought, “you know, she’s right! What separates that church from the world, if the leaders are engaging in acts such as these? She had asked me, “why would these people even want to pretend? If they are going to do this stuff, why no just quit being involved in a church?” Very profound statement from my friend. I was trying to be a witness to her and yet, after she had seen this, she made the valid point, that these people were indeed, worse that she was in their actions, because of their sanctimonious and hypocritical lives.

Of course the Lord wouldn’t allow this to continue and the church fell apart. If the leadership wanted to walk in these ways, the Lord was not going to allow them to lead so many others down this slippery slope. “Judgement begins in the house of God.” And since we are also considered temples, this means us as well.

So here we see the end days approaching and I would encourage everyone, to look at these words with great fear and do a self-examination, just as I did. I speak for myself as well and can say, I had almost fallen away from discouragement, yet refused to be claiming I was an active believer when I was walking in darkness. I just couldn’t drag the Lords name through the mud. To me, get in or get out! This is exactly what the Lord says in Revelation. Remember, I had posted this once before.

Revelation 3:14-16 “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth!” (The word for spit/spew, is vomit) It actually makes the Lord sick to His stomach to see such hypocrisy and remember, He is speaking to the church.

It is coming very soon, so I would say, now is the time to get on your knees and repent. Ask Christ to come and reign in your heart so that you will be one of the over-comers that He praises in the end. These are the ones that He will say to, “Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into your rest!”

Bible Thieves???

Love the Word of the Lord

Love the Word of the Lord

Well, it looks as though someone rummaged through my car and stole my bible. Yes, that’s right. They must think I have some secrets locked up inside of that magic book. Well, don’t we all? The Lord told us this book is His word and it’s mysteries are unlocked to all believers. Oh, that we should all love his word. My only regret is that I had a sweet envelope from my father inside my bible and some notes. It was also inscribed to me.

Of course a bible is a personal thing. What does the person think I know that they don’t? First of all you need to have one thing to unlock the mysteries of the Bible. The Holy Spirit. He is the one that gives us the understanding of the Word, because He is the breath of God. He authored the Word.

How do you hope to understand what comes from the spirit of God without the Spirit of God living in you? Do you think I’m some kind of a spy or something? Just because I have knowledge of things in advance or dreams that can be interpreted? Anyone that is a true follower of the Lord, knows that these things come from God, and the closer to His return, the more frequent we shall see these things happen. We must learn to rely on His spirit. Look at Acts2 during Pentecost in the New Testament. We have just completed Pentecost for this season as well.. (Acts2:17)In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams, Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days and they will prophesy,

I will show wonders in the heaven above, and things on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke,

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

And everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

Because I tell you a darkness is coming, you wonder??? The Lord has told us. He told us also, it wil be the Time of Jacob’s troubles.

Now when he resurrected, he told the disciples that unless he sent to them the gift, from the Father, of the Holy Spirit, they would not have the full power of God. The power to become witnesses. (Dunamis) This is the completion of Christs work on the cross. This is also when “their minds were illuminated to the word.” The author living in them, bearing witness to the words written. This is why some people can read the bible from cover to cover and never get, the revelation knowledge from it. It is the rhema, (faith and life given word).

It’s also referred to in the Word as “living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.” (Hebrews4:12) Why, is it different than any other published book? This is the reason. It applies yesterday, today and in the future. As I have said many times, it is a loop of history and the Lord has written everything in specific detail to help us, if man would only study it.

I watched a special on television last night about Freemasons, and thought how man wants to find any other way, but Gods way. Adding and subtracting from His word, just to elevate himself to some high position. When I saw the practices behind closed doors, besides being occult in nature, I could only describe it in a word, Stupid. And to think that many of these practices could have been used to govern in high offices is reprehensible, however, it doesn’t surprise me. We have always seen the influence of darkness since the beginning. God does not operate in darkness, but the light of truth.

God had always kept it simple. He said the world was formed round, long before man decided to listen and kept believing they’d sail off the edge of the earth. We keep trying our own way, and He keeps trying to bring us back. This is why He came for us. When you read Isaiah 53, the prophet speaking of the Lord, says in verse 6, We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

So, here I am wondering, why someone is stealing my bible, as if they are going to find out something that they can’t find in any other bible. It’s almost amusing. I am going to give you a shoutout. You don’t need any special decoding technology for my dreams or my bible. You don’t need to track me with tracking devices or phone calls, etc.

However, if you do want to know what I know, and understand how the Lord speaks, you must have that intimate relationship with Him that I have. That only comes through repentance.(You might want to start with that bible theft) haha! Just kidding. If you give your life to the Lord in the process, I will forgive you. At any rate, then you must ask the Lord to become your Lord and Savior, that means giving up control. That’s the tough part for most people. Especially arrogant men, that believe they are in control. However, even these men will be brought to the place of humility..

It is the only way to the Lord and to know Him. Look at Nicodemus, the teacher of the Law. He decided to sneak behind everyone’s backs to go and see the Lord and ask that question, “How can I enter the kingdom of God?” Obviously, he knew the Lord was no ordinary man.

The Lord very simply told him, “you must be born again.” Nicodemus thought he was talking about the flesh and couldn’t understand this. This is when the Lord pointed out that “flesh gives birth to flesh, but the spirit gives birth to the spirit.”(John3″1-16)

So now, you know all of my secrets. They can be yours too. They are for anyone that turns His heart to the Lord. He made Himself available to all men. A living sacrifice.

Now, when I share the other dream the Lord gave me after this post, what are you going to steal? My pillows?

If you do give your life to the Lord, please do me a favor and return my bible or at least the envelope from my father. It was so sweet, as you can see, he actually wrote a note to the mailman on the outside which I thought quite humorous and everything from my father is priceless.

Anyway, we know from scripture that the Lord refers to Satan as “the god of this world, who blinds the unbelievers minds to the truth.” We know that he only has a certain amount of time to create chaos in this world and he doesn’t even know when that time will come to a close, so I’d imagine he uses many agents to try and find out how the whole thing will play out. We also know that it’s impossible for him to ever know because there will be no Holy Spirit giving him any interpretation, so he has to rely on spying and mans technology. He is also referred to as “the prince of the power of the air.” Ephesians 2:2) He likes to use surveillance. (satellites) This is his forte. Covert, hidden, darkness.

But remember who you are in Christ, “greater is He that is in me, than the one who is in the world.”(1John4:4)

Get Back In the Game!

I am calling again and if I had your number, (I’m sure you are glad that I don’t) I would say, “hey Bobby, don’t be a quitter!” This is what you lived for! You had a passion for! You breathed every breath into that harmonica just for these days!  You know God gives us these gifts to glorify Him. Do you not understand, oh son of David? The fig tree has blossomed and summer is near, which could only mean one thing….”the generation that sees these things happen will surely not pass away before my return”(Luke 21:32) Now get up off of whatever it is your sitting on and do what you do best.

Benjamin Netanyu has taken his position for “such a time as this,” and so have all of the power players that the Lord has strategically put in place for the final countdown. The spiritual showdown has begun. The watchmen on the walls.(Ezekiel 3:16-19)

All Along The Watch Tower Bob Dylan

We are supposed to be out there and warn the Joker and the Theif. They are searching for answers right now and the worlds economy are depending on the ones who carry the message of truth. They are they Watchmen holding back the floodgates. The Holy Spirit, (the one who restrains evil) is searching for the lost, but He cannot help them if your sword remains in it’s sheath. Draw your sword. The sword of the spirit is the word of God and it is powerful. It is the truth and it is more powerful than any two-edged sword.

As man runs to and fro seeking knowledge, the prophet Daniel had spoken of these days and he was “like one who was dead,” from what he had seen. These men will not find any relief unless they come to one conclusion, “our help comes from the Lord.”

Now if it seems like I’m taunting Bob Dylan, well maybe I am, but that’s just because I think he’s a genius and a gifted man of God that has fallen away and I’m praying he returns to his calling, however there are so many more that are called to be a part of this end time harvest.

The most powerful thing I remember when Christ spoke to His Disciples was this; although he had called hundreds only a handful remained and he said, “many are called but few are chosen.”

So we know that it is a lonely road a very few that travel on it. And although many call themselve believers, that really doesn’t mean a thing, because He also said that in the end many would call upon Him and say, “Lord, did we not prophecy in your name? Did we not heal the sick in your name? And he will say to them, “Depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you.” Which clearly indicates He did not have any intimate relationship with the person, but perhaps the person was clinging to false works as a way to salvation. A form of religion, but denying Gods ultimate power.

In these days it is critical to understand that “God is real and He is a rewarder to those who believe that He is, and to those who diligently seek Him.”
